Postal address for formal notices is issued on request — email the address above and we will supply it the same business day. It is the address on file with the U.S. Copyright Office directory.
Send notices to the agent above. A notice sent to support, to a salesperson, or posted in the forum is not a notice under §512(c)(3) and starts no clock.
What a valid notice must contain
17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) requires all six of these. A notice missing any of them may not be actionable, and we will write back and tell you which one is missing rather than ignoring it:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you want removed, with a URL on payco.ai specific enough for us to find it.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
Please consider fair use before you send one. §512(f) makes a knowing material misrepresentation actionable: someone who files a false notice can be liable for the other side's damages and legal costs.
What we do when we receive one
- We acknowledge the notice, normally within 2 business days.
- If it is complete, we remove or disable the material expeditiously and tell the member who posted it, passing on a copy of your notice.
- We tell them how to file a counter-notice, and we tell you if they do.
- We keep a record of every notice, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers under our Terms of Use.
Counter-notice: if your material was removed and you think that was wrong
Send a counter-notice to the same agent, containing your signature; identification of the material and where it was before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and telephone number, together with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, for any district where we may be found) and that you will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.
If we receive a valid counter-notice we forward it to the original complainant. Unless they tell us they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity, we restore the material in 10 to 14 business days.
Reporting anything else
Copyright is not the only reason to report a post. Marketplace listings and forum threads each carry their own Report control, which reaches our moderators directly and is faster than this page for anything that is not a copyright claim — fraud, abuse, a listing that is not what it says it is, or content that should not be on the platform. For a security flaw, use our vulnerability disclosure policy instead.
